Beth lives in Stacy, Minnesota, with her boyfriend, John. She has one college-aged daughter, Mikayla, and two cats, Leela and Namaste. A native of the state, Beth enjoys being outside during all seasons. With a strong interest in health and wellness, Beth spends her free time taking nature walks, hiking, weightlifting, practicing yoga, kayaking, exploring the link between nutrition and wellness, and she has recently taken up quilting. While her radio may be tuned to Bloomberg Business during the week, in her free time, she enjoys listening to and singing all types of music.
Growing up in a household where the allocation of finances was the subject of frequent arguments, Beth was motivated to understand the link between money and emotions. Beth has a degree in finance from Metropolitan State University and more than 23 years of experience in banking and finance. She holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, Chartered Mutual Fund CounselorSM, and Certified in Long-Term Care designations and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
With an understanding that oversaving can be just as much of a mistake as overspending, Beth works with her clients to find balance in their relationship with the money flowing into and out of their lives. This strong desire to help and educate also motivates Beth to volunteer, sharing her time and expertise with organizations such as Best Prep, Goodwill Easter Seals, and The Power of 100.
Mikayla is Beth's daughter. A senior at Blaine High School, Mikayla is involved in theater and choir and is the president of the Gardening Club. This summer, Mikayla was one of 70 students selected to be a member of the MMEA All-State Choir 2017–2018. Mikayla is currently applying for colleges to attend in fall 2018. She hopes to one day be a choral director.
